Coronavirus: More than 60 cases recorded in the Borders

THE Borders has recorded 66 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, latest figures show.

According to Scottish Government data published at 2pm today (October 19), the Borders has now seen 8,489 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Scotland has now recorded 612,416 cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest data.
