NHS Borders is set to publish information about its coronavirus vaccination programme.
The health board has confirmed it is in the final stages of planning the distribution.
The first vaccinations in the Borders are scheduled to take place in December, with further information set to be released next week.
A spokesperson from NHS Borders said: “NHS Borders is proud to be planning to undertake the COVID vaccination programme in the Borders.
“Our COVID vaccination group are in the final stages of planning the rollout of the first wave which is scheduled to start in December. Further information will be issued next week.”
Scottish health secretary Jeane Freeman said on Thursday (November 19) that there are 12 vaccines worldwide undergoing the final phase of trials, with three involving clinical trials in Scotland.
“From December we expect to see the first delivery of vaccines to Scotland,” she said.
“As I’ve said, we’re hopeful that over the coming weeks into 2021, we will have more than one vaccine available to us, so that we can, with minimum delay, vaccinate as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.”
