Arias, duets, trios and quartets by Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Mozart and many more, from the world of opera and operetta with maybe even a smidgen of Gilbert and Sullivan!

Four professional singers and musical director along with the Classical Musicians Scotland Orchestra perform a programme of the most famous and favourite opera pieces to delight both the musical connoisseur and the less operatically minded. A surprise or two may also be in store!

All items are introduced and explained so if you’ve never been to an opera before, and find the idea daunting, this will be ideal. You’ll find out a little about each piece, and if (unlikely) you don’t like it, another will be along in three minutes! If you’re already worldy-wise in the opera scene, you may find out a thing or two you didn’t know.
