BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Galashiels man who made threats and sexual remarks towards a female pharmacy delivery driver.
Neil Wilkinson, 41, pleaded guilty to shouting and swearing and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at his home in Larchbank Street on May 4 last year.
Depute fiscal Fiona Hamilton said the woman was delivering a prescription to Wilkinson’s address.
She tried to to deliver to his home but there was no answer although she could hear he was in.
Wilkinson then subjected her to abuse calling her a slag and saying he did not want her to deliver to his home.
He then said he was going to kill her and also rape her.
The woman got back into her vehicle and the police were contacted.
The pharmacy also phoned Wilkinson to tell him his behaviour was unacceptable and he was not allowed to come to the shop and during the conversation he apologised for his actions.
Sentence was deferred until July 25 for a Crimninal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
