Ninety coronavirus cases recorded in Borders in 24 hours

THE Borders has recorded 90 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, latest figures show.

An update was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 21).

And the new data shows that the Borders has now seen 12,119 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.

There remains fewer than five people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Scotland has now recorded 811,927 cases since March last year.
