Cafe owners receive certificates recognising fundraising efforts for blood charity

The café hosted the raffle day on October 3, attracting support from motorcyclists keen to help.

The raffle featured an impressive selection of prizes, including motorcycle jackets donated by BMW and Triumph, permits for a day’s fishing for two on the loch, vouchers from motorcycle dealers Rebz, Bikespeed UK and Motorrad Durty Demo, a tour of Celtic Park and vouchers for the Glen Cafe and Waterwheel Tearoom, alongside many other prizes.

The event proved a great success, with generous contributions from businesses and individuals.

The charity’s volunteers provide a vital service transporting medical supplies, blood and blood products, equipment and medicines between hospitals, healthcare facilities, and home addresses.

The certificate presentation recognised Erin and Robyn’s ongoing commitment to the charity, with the raffle providing another opportunity for the local motorcycling community and businesses to support its work.

Blood Bikes Scotland relies on donations and community support to sustain its service.
