Jill Clowes, who is based in Darnick, won two awards at the Female Founder Awards last month, picking up the Start Up award as well as the Education award.
She said: “I was absolutely blown away even just to be nominated, to be recognised, especially across the whole of Scotland, where we have got some incredible female founders was amazing.
“You could have genuinely knocked me over when they pulled my name out the first time, but the second time was really just unbelievable.
“To be recognised across the country for the work that I have put in was just amazing.
“I still look at the certificates in my office and still can’t quite believe that my name is on them.”
She set up Jill Clowes Coaching last year, offering personal development and mindset coaching.
Ms Clowes added: “I’ve always been super passionate about what the mind can do, what it controls every day for us is unbelievable and just helping people making those small shifts.
“It’s not about adding more things to your to-do list, it’s really about making small changes to get the most out of life and opportunities and family situations.”
She was presented with her awards at a ceremony at the Collectors Hall in Glasgow on June 15.
Jill added: “Coaching is super forward thinking, it’s all about what you could do with what you’ve got now.
“I would say try it, life coaching is massively misunderstood I don’t think people fully understand what coaching is.
“I think there is a real lack of knowledge around the difference between coaching, mentoring and the therapist side of things.
“If anybody is hesitant, it’s not about fixing something that is broken necessarily.
“It could just be people that want a little bit more and feel they have more to give.
“It sounds cliché but possibilities are endless, it’s just how we approach them and different way of thinking about it.”
